This site is from the National Center for Fair and Open Testing. It includes a comprehensive list of colleges and universities that deemphasize the use of standardized tests by making admissions decisions without using the SAT or ACT. It notes that some schools exempt students who meet grade-point average or class rank criteria, while others do require SAT or ACT scores but use them only for placement or research purposes, and not as a basis for admission
