  • Brad:

Great link. HCF runs a 4 day Youth Symposium at UCLA in August. HS students with a decent GPA who identify with the hispanic community from 5 LAUSD high schools stay in the dorms, interact with college students they can easily realte to and meet some of the most prestigious hispanic politicians & business people in SoCal. State Farm funds HCF and also gave Champions/CORE money to develop a college acccess resource tool to deal with urban youth’s frustration with the seemingly endless barriers to attaining a college degree!!!! The intersection for these programs are so vital for us to explore.
