SOS College is a free online resource designed as a collection of maps for the road to college.

Our goal is to help under-served students, grades 8-12, who would otherwise not have access to this type of information. Through the creation of this website we hope to give students the opportunity and guidance to further their education.

To build this site, we collect and organize free, online resources that help students with:

  • Scholarships
  • Financial Aid
  • Application Deadlines
  • Personal Statement Writing
  • Resume Writing
  • Finding the right school for future students
  • Alternatives to traditional colleges
  • Using the time in high school (and middle school) wisely

We have undertaken this project in partnership with the nonprofit CORE Educational Services (http://coreeducationalservices.org/). CORE provides new funding opportunities to support meaningful out-of-school-time activities for at-risk youth, specifically targeted and designed for sub-populations that participate in CHAMPIONS: Adventure, After School & Sports Programs. CHAMPIONS provides academic, enrichment and sports programs for K-12 students in California and New England, including 33 after school programs nationwide.

If you have any additional advice, comments, or inquiries, we welcome any and all feedback! Thank you!
